Building Community in Virtual Learning Spaces What happens to education and community building when we are sequestered? How do we share the stories that provide understanding of ourselves and our communities? Join us in bringing community, connection and deeper meaning to the virtual and hybrid classroom. We are harnessing this unprecedented opportunity of crisis and isolation and transforming it into an opportunity to strengthen and restore ourselves, our students, and our communities.
Our Focuses • Providing K-16 and community based educators with innovative teaching strategies for the virtual environment. • Supporting the Social and Emotional needs of our students. • Building deeper community among educators and students. • Working to create equitable solutions for all students. • Shifting the paradigm of teaching and learning.
Spotlight sessions are led by Joe Brooks, CWI founder, and CWI DEI Associate Zack Ritter.
